The final concerto of Rachmaninov, the Fourth was completely misunderstood at its premiere in 1927, leading the composer to abandon the genre. Today, it is widely considered one of his most personal and original scores. The British pianist Kathryn Stott will interpret it.

This concert is also an opportunity to hear Brahms’ Schicksalslied (The Song of Destiny), a masterpiece rarely performed in concert, with the Dijon Bourgogne Orchestra and the Dijon Opera Choir.
