    ANTONIO SOLER (1729-1783)
    Fandango

Antonio Soler’s Fandango was extremely popular in the 18th century, captivating all of Europe with this irresistibly salacious dance. No opera buffa worthy of this name would miss an opportunity to toss a few of its mischievous rhythms into the mix — not even Le Nozze di Figaro.

The young Franco-American harpsichordist Justin Taylor, First prize winner at the Bruges competition in 2015 and laureate of the Victoire de la musique in 2017, returns to Dijon with the titillating mission to set aflame the Auditorium hall !
