You know him as one of the most rigorous and poetic keyboardists of his time. This concert invites you to discover another facet in the art and manner of Andreas Staier : a concert that will bring to life a project dear to the artist for many years, to go beyond the works and repertoire for keyboard, to explore new areas of expression, new ways of making music. It is therefore with baton in hand that we find Andreas Staier for this Requiem by Mozart so eagerly awaited. This extraordinary score marks an absolute pinnacle in the history of sacred music, where the most rigorous art flows with such apparent simplicity, finding the most direct path to the heart. The ingenious composer maintains the faint spark of hope for a completely personal theology, a theophany where the music becomes the most complete repository and witness of human spirituality.
